Bernedoodles typically have a coat that is a combination of the Bernese Mountain Dog's long, thick, silky coat, and the Poodle's curly, hypoallergenic fur. They can have either a low or high-shedding coat, depending on the relative dominance of the parent breeds' coat. Generally, the adults will have a non-shedding coat, though puppies often shed briefly in their first year.
