A Bernedoodle is a cross breed between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. This mix makes a very affectionate and people-oriented dog that is intelligent, gentle, and creates a wonderful family companion. The Bernedoodle is also easily trained and has a low to non-shedding coat making them ideal for those with allergies. They don't require much exercise and are usually fairly quiet, being content with a daily walk or playtime in the yard. The Bernedoodle's size can range anywhere from small to giant, depending on the parent breed’s size.
Bernedoodles are generally a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. Although poodles are considered hypoallergenic, their coat type can vary depending on their parents. Bernedoodles tend to have a coat more like their Bernese Mountain Dog parent, which usually isn't hypoallergenic.
