Bernedoodles are a hybrid cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. They are intelligent, friendly and loyal animals that make an excellent family pet. Bernedoodles are highly social and make wonderful companions they are gentle with children and love to get cuddles from their owners. Bernedoodles tend to shed minimally, so daily grooming is recommended. They also require regular exercise and mental stimulation. Overall, Bernedoodles are fun-loving, adaptive dogs that make a great addition to any household.
Bernedoodles feature an exceptionally unique coat! Depending on which parent breed influence is dominant, the coat will either be curly like a Poodle's to wiry and thick like a Bernese Mountain Dog's. However, most Bernedoodles will have a coat that falls between these two extremes. This hybrid breed's coat is usually somewhere between medium and long, with a wooly texture, and can be different colors ranging from black and white to red or brown. Bernedoodle coats do best with regular brushing to keep the coat from matting.
