Bernedoodles typically have a thick, dense coat. They usually carry a combination of Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle coat characteristics, resulting in a uniquely soft and fluffy coat that can vary in color and length depending on the combination of parent breeds. A Bernedoodle coat typically doesn't shed or tangle easily. As a hybrid, the Bernedoodle can take on a variety of coat colors, and their coats can range from wavy to straight texture. Depending on their genetics, they might need to be trimmed or groomed to make sure the coat stays healthy and clean.
