Bernedoodles are not considered a hypoallergenic breed, though they do carry a low-shedding, hypoallergenic coat. This hybrid breed is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, resulting in a low or non-shedding coat that can be friendly for people with pet allergies, but should be taken into consideration if a person has severe pet allergies. However, while the coat of the Bernedoodle is considered to be low-shedding, it will still require regular brushing and grooming to prevent any potential allergen buildup.
