A Bernedoodle is a fun and loving hybrid breed of dog created from crossing a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. They are usually a medium to large breed of pet that posses the best traits and characteristics of both breeds. The Bernedoodle aims to combine the great playfulness of a poodle and the intelligence, loyalty and loving nature of a Bernese Mountain Dog. Bernedoodles can be easily trained, and are very lowto non-shedding, making them a great fit for those with allergies or asthma.
Bernedoodles are considered to be hypoallergenic dogs. As this breed is a mix of both the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle, they can inherit the low-shedding coat of the Poodle. As a result, they do not shed like many other breeds and are considered to be good choices for people with allergies. Moreover, because they do not shed as much, they also produce less dander, which can further reduce potential reactions to allergens.
Bernedoodles generally do not have any specific dietary needs beyond what other dogs do.
