Bernedoodles, a cross between Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, can be hypoallergenic depending on their genetics and coat. Since they are a crossbreed, they can inherit coat traits from either one of the parent breeds. If a Bernedoodle has inherited the hypoallergenic characteristics of a poodle, they will be less likely to cause an allergic reaction. However, a Bernedoodle that more closely resembles a Bernese Mountain Dog in terms of coat, may not be hypoallergenic.
Bernedoodles are quite a new breed, and every dog's dietary needs may vary. However, they do have similar dietary needs to other poodles, such as a healthy and well-balanced diet full of proteins, carbohydrates, and other essential vitamins and minerals. Bernedoodles, in particular, may need higher amounts of fatty acids due to the amount of fur they have, so it's recommended to choose a commercial dog food that's specifically tailored for dogs with double coats.

The amount of walking a Bernedoodle requires is dependent on its age, fitness level, and the amount of exercise and play it gets throughout the day. Generally speaking, an adult Bernedoodle should be provided with at least 30-60 minutes of walking daily. Puppies should be given around 10-20 minutes of walking daily until they reach 18-24 months of age, then gradually increase the time spent walking to 30-60 minutes at a time.
