As a result, Bernedoodles are incredibly intelligent and observant, have an even temper, and have a playfulness and patience that makes them great family pets. They're also highly adaptable and do well in a variety of homes and families, from singles to couples to large families.
Bernedoodles, a hybrid of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle, have the potential to be hypoallergenic. While all dogs have some level of dander and hair that can set off allergies, the combination of their parents' coats can potentially significantly reduce the amounts of dander and hair, making them less allergenic than other breeds. However, Bernedoodles can also come in a Miniature size, which are adults 17-22 inches tall and weigh 30-50 pounds, or a Toy size, which are adults 11-17 inches tall and weighing a maximum of 25 pounds.
A Bernedoodle typically needs at least 30 minutes of exercise per day, but ideally, between 45 and 60 minutes per day. If you want to provide your Bernedoodle with optimal physical and mental stimulation, you may want to aim closer to the one-hour mark. Depending on the age, size, and energy level of your Bernedoodle, you may break those minutes up into multiple times throughout the day or exercise them for the full hour all at once.
