A Cavapoo is a designer breed that is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. The resulting breed has inherited the best traits of both parent breeds and is known for its intelligence, friendly personality, and adorable appearance. Cavapoos are active and require daily exercise, but due to their small size, this can be easily achieved. They have a high energy level making them an ideal companion for running and playing games. Cavapoos are also known for their loyalty and obedience, making them an excellent companion for families with children.
The Cavapoo is known for having a very lovely and cuddly coat. Its coat is typically a combination of the soft, curly coat of a Poodle, combined with the dense, wavy coat of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. On average, Cavapoo's can be any colour from white and cream, to black or brown. You'll also want to start brushing up on your house-training skills and learning some basic commands to start training your pup.
The best way to train a Cavapoo puppy is to start teaching them the basics as soon as they enter your home. Establish a routine and stick to it, while providing positive reinforcement with treats, verbal rewards, and praise. An F1b Cavapoo is a hybrid between a Poodle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, as opposed to an F1 Cavapoo, which is the first generation of a purebred Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. An F1b Cavapoo is a combination of breeding an F1 Cavapoo and a Poodle, resulting in a higher proportion of Poodle and a lower percentage of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
