They are a hybrid between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, resulting in an active and playful pup that only stands at a small height, typically between 10-14 inches tall and weights approximately 10-20 pounds. Cavapoos are quite outgoing, loving to be part of the family and socialize with everyone. The primary difference between an F1b, F2 and other generations of Cavapoos is the amount of “poodle” in them. An F1 Cavapoo is a first generation cross between a purebred Poodle and a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. An F1b Cavapoo, then, is a backcross between an F1 Cavapoo and a Poodle. An F2 Cavapoo is a second generation cross between two F1 Cavapoos.
