Bred to be a companion dog, Cavapoos are known for their gentle, loving nature and intelligence. These pint-sized pups range in size from toy to miniature, with a typical life expectancy of 12-15 years. They are low to non-shedding and hypoallergenic, making them a great choice for families with allergies.
The Cavapoo has a beautiful, soft coat that is hypoallergenic and non-shedding. It tremendously varies in length, ranging from a soft fluff to a medium curl. Its colors and markings vary from white and cream to apricot and red, chocolate, black and silver. Some have a single color, while others might have specific markings. Its coat can either be wavy or curly, and is medium thickness with a silky soft undercoat.
Cavapoo puppies can be considered hypoallergenic due to their inherent characteristics. An F1b Cavapoo is bred by crossing an F1 Cavapoo with a Poodle. An F2 Cavapoo, on the other hand, is created by breeding two F1 Cavapoos.
