The biggest difference between the various generations of Cavapoos is the level of hybrid vigor each generation displays. A Cavapoo f1b (first-generation backcross) is the result of crossing a first-generation (f1) Cavapoo with a Poodle. This produces a crossbreed with a higher hybrid vigor than an f1 (50/50) Cavapoo, where both parents were purebred.
