A Golden Retriever is a medium-sized, large-hearted dog known for its devotion, intelligence and loving disposition. Bred as gundogs, they are excellent family companions as they are reliable, trustworthy, and intensely loyal. A good rule of thumb is to make sure they have around 30 minutes of walking on top of swimming sessions or other exercise if your dog is an active breed.
