Labradors tend to be quite athletic, they have an amazing sense of smell and they also make great guide dogs and therapy dogs.
Labrador Retrievers are considered to be moderate shedders. While they may not be considered non-shedding, they generally don't shed very heavily. To keep up with their coat and help minimize shedding, regular brushing is recommended. This helps to remove loose hair, reduce tangles and matted fur, and promote healthy skin and coat.
