A Maltipoo, also sometimes referred to as a "Malt-A-Poo" or "Malti-Poo," is a hybrid breed of dog created by crossing a Maltese with a Toy or Miniature Poodle. This breed of dog is known for its fluffy and friendly demeanor. They can vary in size, depending on the parent breed used in the mix, but usually range from six to fourteen pounds and up to fourteen inches in height. They are small, cuddly, and relatively low maintenance when it comes to haircuts and grooming.
Maltipoos are a designer breed that consists of a Maltese and a Poodle. Generally, they are quite low shedding due to the fact that both breeds that it is made up of have a non-shedding coat. Maltipoos have coats much like the Poodle, with their fur falling into a curl or wave and is often thick and feels like a soft blanket.
