Maltipoos are a hybrid breed of designer dog made up of a mix of Maltese and Toy or Miniature Poodles. They are known for their sweet and gentle nature, intelligence, loving and loyal companion qualities, and low-shedding, hypoallergenic coats. Maltipoos come in a variety of coat colors, usually more light-colored than their Maltese parent. They are considered relatively healthy dogs and on average weigh 8-20 pounds and stand 8-14 inches tall.
The coat of a Maltipoo is typically quite soft and curly, having a slight degree of fluffiness from their Poodle lineage.
