Maltipoos are an ideal pet for those who enjoy a loving and devoted companion and don't mind a bit of grooming. They require daily brushing to keep their soft, hypoallergenic fur healthy and tangle-free. Though they can typically be very quiet and low maintenance, some Maltipoos may require regular haircuts and training to keep them well behaved.
The Maltipoo is known for its beautiful and unique coat. The coat is usually thick, soft, and wavy that can range from curly to woolly. Maltipoos can have coats of many different colors such as white, cream, tan, chocolate, black and grey. As they age, their coat can become a combination of any of these shades, giving them an even more unique look. A Maltipoo's coat can be short, medium, or long in length, with most averaging around 3 to 8 inches in length.
