Maltipoos are a hybrid breed made up of the Maltese and Poodle. A Maltipoo is a great companion because it is affectionate, friendly and lovable. With proper care and grooming, a Maltipoo can live up to 12 or 14 years. They are not ideal for homes with small children as they can get anxious when handled too rough. Maltipoos are active and alert, and generally loving and loyal. They do not usually bark incessantly, but they can alert you to visitors or strangers.
