What's unique about this breed is that Maltipoos are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and affectionate personalities, making them great family pets. One fun fact about Maltipoos is that their coats come in a variety of colors and patterns and can either stay short like their Maltese parents or grow curly and long like their Poodle parents.
Maltipoos may be considered a hypoallergenic breed since they are a mix of Maltese and Poodle, both of which have low-shedding coats which help reduce pet allergies. However, since the Maltipoo is a mix of two different breeds, any specific dog's hypoallergenic qualities cannot be guaranteed.
