Maltipoos are considered to be one of the most loving, gentle and intelligent hybrid breeds. Not only are they highly trainable, but they make great companions because of their affectionate nature. They tend to have a long lifespan of 15-18 years. Maltipoos also have a range of coats and colors, ranging from white and black to apricot and red. Surprisingly, these playful and social dogs don't need a lot of exercise and are generally happy living in apartments.
Maltipoos are a popular designer dog breed that can be considered hypoallergenic. These dogs are a cross between a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle, two breeds that are both considered hypoallergenic. With their parent breeds being hypoallergenic, Maltipoos usually carry similar traits and can, therefore, be considered hypoallergenic. It is important to note, however, that no breed is truly 100% hypoallergenic.
Maltipoos can have special dietary needs since they are a crossbreed between the Maltese and Poodle.
