Pomskies are a hybrid breed of dogs that were bred to be the perfect blend of the two most popular designer breeds, the Pomeranian and the Siberian Husky. They are small-medium sized dogs that weigh anywhere from 10-30 pounds when fully grown. An interesting fact about Pomskies is that they are not officially recognized as a breed by the American Kennel Club, but they can still be registered with the International Designer Canine Registry (IDCR).
Pomskies have a very unique coat that is usually thick, fluffy, and soft. They come in coats of all different color combinations, from black and white to orange and red. The coat of a Pomsky is similar to that of a Siberian Husky, but is often much softer and denser. On top of being thick, the individual hairs are usually wavier and coarser.
