Pomskies are a hybrid breed, a mix between a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky. Since they are a fairly new breed, they are not yet officially recognized by any major kennel club. However, they often have the alert, energetic and friendly personalities of Siberian Huskies and the small, cuddly size of a Pomeranian. These furry companions also usually have a beautiful, thick coat that typically resembles a husky but with a Pomeranian’s colors, such as black and white, brown and white, or black and tan.
Pomskies are considered to be a low-shedding breed. While they do shed, it is typically much less than other breeds and is rarely noticed. In general, a brush or comb through their coat once a week should be all that is needed to keep the shedding in check.
