They are a small-sized breed, typically thought to range between 8-15 pounds, and are known to be intelligent, energetic and affectionate. Fun facts about Pomskies include them having soft and luxuriant coats with various texture lengths, sporting traits from both parents like the intelligence of a Pomeranian and the playfulness of a Spitz.
Pomskies are a lively and active breed of dog, and one of the most desirable characteristics of this breed is that they are non-shedding. As the breed is a cross between a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky, Pomskies have a double coat that produces less shedding than traditional single-coated dogs. This breed of dog is considered to be low shedding and may require regular brushing and maintenance to prevent matting of their coat.
