They inherit traits from both breeds, and usually appear somewhere between the two. Generally, Pomskies are middling-sized dogs, weighing on average between 20-30 pounds, and feature a dense, soft coat. They are usually warm and friendly to their owners, but tend to be alert and quite vocal barking when necessary to ward of strangers.
Pomskies are considered to be a low to non-shedding hybrid breed of dog. Some Pomskies do not shed at all, while others will shed lightly and only for a few months a year. In general, these pups have a single coat so the shedding process is limited and very minimal.
