A Poodle is a breed of dog that falls under the non-sporting breed category. These intelligent and obedient dogs come in three sizes: Standard, Miniature, and Toy. All Poodles have a curly or corded coat, and their coats can come in a wide variety of colors. A Poodle's coat does require regular grooming and should be clipped every few months. This breed is known for its intelligence, agility, and extreme trainability, which has made it popular for a variety of activities, including dock diving, agility, rally, and obedience.
