The Golden Retriever has a stunning coat that is characterized by its water-repellent, thick outer coat and a soft, dense undercoat. Its color is usually golden, although it can range from light gold to a darker mahogany color. Its coat naturally sheds, and regular brushing helps maintain its natural sheen.
